1. Albert Museum
Albert Hall Museum in Jaipur is one of the best and captivating tourist places in Rajasthan. Also known as the Central Museum, Albert Museum is situated amidst the lawn of Ram Niwas Bagh in Jaipur.
Constituted to be one of the oldest historical museums in Rajasthan, Albert Hall Museum was originally sketched, designed and delineated by the Colonel Sir Swinton Jacob in the year 1876 for the motive of felicitating King Edward VII, the Prince of Wales.
2. Lake Pichola
Lake Pichola is one of the most popular tourist places in Rajasthan. It is an artificial lake which has been named after the Picholi village and was created in 1362 AD. It is one of the several contiguous lakes in Udaipur, which were primarily developed to meet the irrigation and drinking requirements of the local people.

3. Haldi Ghati
Haldi Ghati is a very popular tourist place in Rajasthan. It is a mountain pass in the Aravalli Range and connects the Rajsamand and the Pali districts. The pass gets its name due to its yellow coloured soil, which has been compared to the colour of turmeric.
Haldi Ghati has great historical significance as it had stood witness to the war between one of India’s greatest warriors Maharana Pratap and Raja Man Singh of Amber, who was a general to Mughal Emperor Akbar.
Today, a bronze statue of Maharana Pratap on his favourite horse Chetak has been installed at the Haldi Ghati by the Government of India. The region is also famous for its charity rose product and the mud art of Molela.
4. Vintage Car Museum
The Vintage Car Museum is a wonderful paradise for every automobile enthusiast. The museum showcases over 20 cars of different eras and some of these beauties are over 70 years old, yet still in perfect running condition.
The Museum was inaugurated in February 2000 and since then has become one of the most fascinating tourist places in Rajasthan. The Museum also houses a vintage Shell petrol pump which is still in perfect working condition. This spectacular place gives a brief insight into the luxurious and grandiose life of the royals of Udaipur.
5. Mount Abu
At a distance of 166 km from Udaipur, 233 km from Ahmedabad, 273 km from Jodhpur, 440 km from Jaisalmer, 496 km from Jaipur, 546 km from Indore, 753 km from Delhi and 770 km from Mumbai, Mount Abu is a popular hill station in the Aravalli Range in Sirohi district of Rajasthan near the border with Gujarat. Mount Abu is one of the best hill stations in India and also one of the top places to visit in Rajasthan.
Mount Abu is the only hill station in the deserts of Rajasthan and is located at an altitude of 1220 m. It lies at the top of a granite peak on the magnificent Aravalli Ranges and is covered with lush green forests. Guru Shikhar is the highest peak of the range, at 1,722 m above sea level. This enchanting hill station is 22 km long and 9 km wide. It is referred to as an oasis in the desert due to several lakes and waterfalls situated in the hills.
6. Ranthambore National Park
Among the must include places in India wildlife tours, Ranthambhore was established as the Sawai Madhopur Game Sanctuary in 1955 by the Government of India and was declared one of the Project Tiger reserves in 1974. Ranthambore became a national park in 1981. In 1984, the adjacent forests were declared the Sawai Man Singh Sanctuary and Keladevi Sanctuary, and in 1991 the tiger reserve was enlarged to include the Sawai Man Singh and Keladevi sanctuaries.
The Ranthambore National Park was once the hunting ground of the Maharajas of Jaipur. The rivers Chambal in the South and Banas in the North bound the Ranthambore National Park. The landscape of the park is formed of massive rock formations, steep scarps, perennial lakes and streams. It is named after the historic Ranthambhore fortress, which lies within the park. The Padam Talab, Raj Bagh Talab and Malik Talab are the prominent water bodies in the park.
7. Udaipur
Udaipur is known as the City of Lakes, so it should not come as a surprise that the lakes are a main attraction. Two of the biggest lakes, Fateh Sagar and Pichola, are artificial, but that makes them no less beautiful. The main reason to visit Udaipur is for the chance to explore Udaipur City Palace, a collection of palaces, museums and gardens in a range of architectural styles. Shrines, temples, royal residences and art collections are also available to admire within the City Palace. Just north of the palace is Jagdish Temple, Udaipur’s most famous temple. Dedicated to Lord Vishnu, the temple boasts stunning carvings, and it is now an iconic landmark in the city.
