If you’re in isolation then there are many things to do then just watching television or playing games on your phone during this lockdown. Here is a list of 10 things that you can do while you are in lockdown.
1. Painting and Crafts – Take out your sketchbook or just start painting on a normal notebook or just craft something interesting with some loose papers.
2. Start writing a book – If you’ve been putting off writing that novel, this is the time to get back writing it. Make a goal and stick to it, this might be the opportunity to start.
3. Learn a new language – Watch some YouTube videos and learn the basics of any new language. Learn how to write on that language, start with writing your name and go with it.
4. Meditation – Download some app like Calm and start meditating. If you are getting anxious by being stuck at home, this is the best way to control this anxiety. It reduces stress and it makes you focus on your task better.
5. Pamper yourself – Whether you have achieved a long term goal or simply had a productive day, you should use this time to pamper yourself. Get a mani-pedi, take a long hot bath, sleep in, etc.
6. Indoor games – It is a perfect way to pass time and a fun way to spend time with your siblings and parents. Just gather and siblings and start playing.
7. Reconnect with your Parents – This is the perfect time to spend time with your family and understand what’s going on with their lives. For both children and adults facing self-isolation, it’s important to maintain a sense of routine throughout a day, from having meals together to just simply sharing the household chores.
8. Reading books – Start with reading those classic books that you never finish. Or browse the internet and get some new free ebooks.
9. Watching movies – Whether working from home or just chilling, it’s good to take a cinematic break when you’re social distancing during the coronavirus crisis. Movie theatres closed and movies postponed their release due to this Pandemic. Now you can binge-watch those worth watching movies that you’ve been putting off due to your busy schedule.
10. Write what’s on your mind – Use some words to express yourself, start writing a diary or a blog. Nobody is here to judge you. Sharpen your writing skills with writing whatever comes in your mind. You can start with how do you want to start your day or by writing poetry.
