In order to reduce your pimple marks without getting affected is by stop touching your face when you get a pimple. Touching your pimples can worsen them. All these ingredients you will find sitting in your kitchen just ready to be used –
1. Oats and egg face mask
Good to use upto twice a week, to make this masque combine 3 teaspoons of oats with 1 egg white and 1 teaspoon each of curd and honey. Apply it on your face, avoiding the lips and the area around your eyes. Wash it off after half an hour.
2. Aloe vera gel
Aloe vera minimizes scars and also improves skin texture. You can use the gel directly from the plant or buy an over the counter gel.
3. Curd
To 2 teaspoons of curd, add a pinch of turmeric (haldi). Apply this daily on your face–washing it off after 15 minutes. This not only softens the skin, but also helps acne and marks.
4. Turmeric
It is an organic and an oldest medicinal ingredient that is anti inflammatory. It reduces pigmentation and lightens the skin. Add 1 teaspoon of turmeric to 1 teaspoon of lemon juice. Apply the mixture on the scars or on your face as a mask and let it do its wonder. Leave it for 30 minutes and wash.
5. Baking soda
It is an effective skin exfoliator that keeps your skin hydrated. It also has bleaching properties. Daily use of baking soda can help get rid of clogged pores and dark spots. It is also beneficial for retrieving the skin’s pH balance, which prevent pimple marks and scars. Make a consistent paste of baking soda with water. Apply it on your marks and let it dry. Wash it off after 10-15 minutes.
6. Sandalwood
Sandalwood is another great home remedy for acne scars. It is widely and traditionally used by women in India because of its effectiveness in cleansing the skin.
Sandalwood powder with water as much as needed to make the paste, few drops of oil can be added to this paste and apply it to the affected areas. Wait 15/30 minutes until the paste dries off and then wash it off. Keep continuing the process until the scars or blemishes completely vanish.
